Laurie is definitely a girl who knows what she wants (as much as a two year old can) and it seems that once she decides to do something there is little we can do to stop her. Like when she decided to stop nursing, cold turkey, two and a half months too early.
So it is with potty training. She decided last sunday that she wanted to use the toilet. No training potties for this child! We had accidents most of the day on Monday, but by tuesday she was doing everything in the toilet. She does really well when we stay home and I am constantly available to help her when she tells me, but when I get busy or distracted we have accidents.
I am just so happy with how well she is doing and am looking forward to being through this phase with her.
