Family Night

Monday night we had a fun family night. We had a photo scavenger hunt. We went for a walk around the neighborhood and took pictures of items on our list. We had to find a flower, lawn ornament, slide, grill, bench, birdhouse, flag, fountain, fire hydrant, basketball hoop, and swings. It was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed taking the pictures with my phone. (I took the picture of the swings, Emily took the other two. I didn't post all the pictures, but josh did a pretty good job as well.)

When we got home the kids started playing in the front yard. Emily and Josh have this game that they like to play where they sit and wait for the other one to crash into them. They pretend that they are asleep and get startled awake during the crash. Laurie just likes to eat grass.

Yea, the little red car. Bethany and Mayzie have loved that thing at our house too! One of the best $5 deals I ever got!
Sounds like a fun scavenger idea for FHE too.

How fun! That's so creative, and I like your neighborhood. Green lawns, a white picket fence. Perfect! Aaron has a little car like Joshua's, always reminds me of Fred Flintstone. :)

The iron-on pictures come from google images or yahoo images. I just right click and save them, then print them from my computer program! I buy the transfers at Walmart. They sell them in packs of 10.

Sorry folks, this is off subject but I am replying to Val's message on my blog.

When I am looking for cheap costumes, I look on e-bay. This time of year they have TONS! You might be able to find a mermaid one on there. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy vs. sew with fabric prices. She'll be so cute, good luck!
