This is the perfect weather for visiting the zoo, plus school is in so it shouldn't be too crowded. I was wrong. I showed up early, got a parking spot right in front and saw 6-7 school buses just unloading and tons of kids waiting at the entrance.
We did have fun. We even had a squirrel join us for lunch. It ran around our table eating anything the kids dropped. It then stood up on its back feet trying to see if Josh had anymore. We then left all of our things at the table and ran to the bathroom, when we got back the squirrel was up on top of the table. It ran when it saw us.

Laurie looks like a big girl now- standing up! I'm sure this nice October weather would feel a lot better for zoo-going than hot july!
Laurie looks like she wants to be a part of the action. Looks like the animals were very active, I don't remember when I have seen a turkey strut it's feathers like that. Glad you were able to go.
