New Addition

On sunday Josh had a lesson in Sunbeams about fish. His teacher is a young girl about 18 or 19. She gave him a fish to take home. I wasn't thrilled, but he was so excited that we found him a nice bowl and some blue stones. We'll see how long it lasts. Josh has decided to name it Daisy.

We teach the Sunbeam's in our ward and one of the suggestions (from a website I use all the time) was giving the kids a goldfish. I thought about it, and then thought that most likely the parents would kill me! So, they got goldfish crackers instead and went "fishing" for paper fish. Thought it was a safer bet!

Yeah. There were a lot of jokes being made in the foyer about the fish....mainly had to do with the fish meeting a big white throne fishbowl as soon as they got home (ie. the toilet).

Gotta say, it was the most unique thing any of the kids have ever received in primary though. They came home in mason jars.
